One of the most wonderful and painstaking processes behind building any experience is its information architecture. Some teams may just confuse it with a simple sitemap creation but honestly, a lot of hard work goes into it before the platform, product or experience even goes into the design phase.
It is a critical component of the digital project lifecycle and you can say its like a skeletal view meets an ecosystem. To the reach the Final Sign-off from the Client Team and Project Leads it has to go through a rigorous process. We can even completely skip this part but then there won't be any good parts.
This is the glue that holds the digital creative dream together.
Here's an example of an information architecture built together with my design partner at the time and this was for Badminton Gurukul - an organization that builds world-class Badminton Champions. A platform to promote and grow badminton in India by making excellence accessible, creating positive playing experiences and quality coaching by leading badminton experts and players of the game.
