Museum for Children in Warsaw

The first Museum For Children in Poland was created in December 2012. The museum opened in the National Museum of Ethnography in Warsaw, named after Janusz Korczak.

The museum for Children is divided into 5 themed spaces:
My Book
The book of House
The book of Tales
The book of Things
The book of Children's Rights
"In the hall of the house I created a decorative cardboard jungle using colored foil. A jungle is symbolic of the house, you can play and learn underneath its leafs." - Alena says.
In the hall of the book styrofoam letters from alphabets from around the world are suspended from the ceiling.
In the room of Tales you will find seagulls which represent freedom.
For the room "Things" illustrator Joanna Górawska, created drawings of dancing people in folk costumes.
In the lobby there is a corner of the childrens' rights. Children's rights are written on tablets and hang on "podłaźniczka". Podłaźnicka is a branch or tree hanging from the ceiling, where during holidays in Poland, it is customary to hang valuable items, for example sweets.
Also in the lobby there is an interactive floor.
Children's museum has a rich educational program and a many interesting workshops.
