Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Fire

Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Fire

It’s not very often that an iconic brand such as Jack Daniel’s introduces a new flavor. It’s even more rare to be tasked with introducing it to a given market. However, that was the case when Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Fire came to Hungary.

For such a unique opportunity, I proposed a unique location for it’s launch event – “Ganz Ábrahám Öntödei Gyüjtemény”, the foundry museum located in the II. District of Budapest. I feel as though that setting, especially with proper mood lighting, and the imagery of Tennessee Fire’s brand, were perfectly suited for each other.

City Light with LED Cube

Much as Jack Daniel’s added a new dimension to its selection of whiskeys, I tried to push the boundaries of what we’re accustomed to in a JCDecaux City Light.

During the day, it would appear as any other City Light, at night however, it would reveal a new depth. Instead of the standard tube lighting, these specialty City Lights would contain a 3D grid array of multi-colored LED lights which can be animated to appear as flames.

Besides the obvious “wow factor”, it would have many other benefits. In addition to being more cost effective and environmentally friendly due to the relatively low energy consumption when compared to a full LED screen, LED grid arrays are also capable of being interactive.
