Expressing visually the sense of respite and relaxation for an all-day cafe at the beating heart of Glyfada


The Project

When the managers-in-charge of the former canteen of Chariton Square took over its renovation, they wanted to rejuvenate the “park of our childhood’s memories”, opening up a new chapter for the area as well. BiBo is an all-day café, surrounded by a small grove and a playground, appealing not only to the residents of Glyfada but to the residents of broader Attica as well. Besides, there are not a lot of places in Athens where kids can play freely and safely while their grownup companions enjoy their coffee and delicious snacks, are there?





Name, Logotype and Visual Identity

“Breath In, Breath Out”. BiBo is the acronym of this clause, which consists also its owners vision and philosophy. In S&Team, we wanted to depict this sense of respite through a logotype that could combine both naturalness and confidence in a contemporary way. 

We chose a distinct typography and we adapted it using Art Nouveau stylistic elements in order to connect the architectural solidity of BiBo’s building with the organic character of the surrounding area. The feeling of the natural park around the refurbished all-day spot inspired original illustrations that enhanced the identity of the brand.
