"Emotion as an Object"
7LEG is a small side table with seven legs. Its characteristic form is drawn from a single line.
Idea comes from playful drawing without any industrial limitations in mind. This I consider as a creative achievement in spite of technological restrictions coming from production. Creativity wins this time!
Design is bent from a single piece of metal plate. Surface is powder coated (durable, waterproof interior colour). 7LEG is part of my furniture collection Dennodenne.
Dennodenne is an authentic furniture collection, bringing emotions into functional objects. I believe that we shape our identity with the things we surround ourselves with. We identify ourselves through products. We shape ourselves. We become who we want to be. One day after another. Every day (trans. Dennodenne).
The collection presents limited furniture pieces. Shelves and tables are made from one piece - 1 material - 1 piece of metal - 1 design. I don't add or subtract mass - I just shape/bend into a functional form.
