HardCopy is a magazine for software professionals provided by Grey Matter Ltd and published three times a year. Established in 1999 as a resource for Grey Matter's customers, HardCopy includes contributions from both Grey Matter staff and independent software journalists. The magazine contains industry news together with in-depth articles on issues of concern to software developers, service providers and IT managers.
This spring issue of HardCopy focused on mapping software and how it could be used for business purposes.
The cover was designed to represent mapping as a data tool for businesses. The people were created as vectors in Adobe Illustrator and the map of the UK was an Action in Adobe Photoshop that can give an object/shape a 3D look.
