Memorial Book for those lost at sea
Design of logo and materials
Many people have friends and relatives who have lost their lives at sea, whether in peace or war, in ships or boats that have gone down, in aircraft accidents, or on occasions in shoreline tragedies. The Memorial Book, a project of the Maritime Foundation, is a place that the name of a person lost at sea with no known grave, may be recorded for the comfort of bereaved friends and relatives. The book is kept at the church of All Hallows by the Tower, in the City of London, but is open to all without regard to creed or nationality. The brief was for the design of a logo showing the Maritime Foundations' association with the project, and various printed materials.
