These signs were base coated, then a scumble of two colours added, followed by the boarder being taped off and painted. The text was printed to scale and transferred to the signs with carbon paper. Letters and shadows were painted on by hand, and the signs were sealed with satin Varathane. Next breakdown was done with a ragged on wash of raw umber Rosco paint, and some light spattering.
