HEARTBEADS is a play on words, a heart beat that comes from my personal artistic research on the internal organs of the human body, then the primary instance in which anything is possible. From concrete body made of flesh and blood, jewelry of glass and silver, here it comes the higher abstraction that man is capable of conceiving: love.
The beads on the bracelet slips across the bridge created by the curvature of the aortic arch worked in silver. Equal to a drop of scarlet vital liquid, drops a drop of iridescent glass shades pink, magenta and red with internal streaks of blue and silver powder. As the veins of the muscle heart, the blue streaks become entangled inside the glass creating a play of light and shades unexpected.
HEARTBEADS is the missing beads, what reveals the most hidden and yet the most important of the known symbols: the human heart. The anatomical heart, what makes us all the same and yet each different, each with its feel, with its unique way of loving.
