VERTEBEADS
24 different beads for a single set.
The beads will be made of silver carved and shaped according to the form of the 24 vertebrae of the human body. On the tubular part of the vertebra will be placed a zircon golden tones to remember the colors of bone. The beads can be sold individually or in series, an hypothesis that I developed referring to the medical name that differentiates the vertebrae into 3 groups namely the cervical, thoracic and lumbar vertebrae. I have therefore decided to create 3 packages of sale: CERVICAL (7 pieces called C1 to C7), THORACIC (12 pieces, from T1 to T12) and LUMBAR (5 pieces, L1 to L5).
The single vertebra constitutes a very interesting in the composition of the bracelet as it has a very processed and a dynamic form and filled it extrusions. Ringed in series, the VERTEBEADS give life to a unique jewel in its species, recreating the entire spine that winds around the wrist mimicking the different curvatures of the spine.
Result of my personal artistic research in the field of anatomy, the VERTEBEADS want to be a serie dedicated to lovers of the world of science, and it is an auspicious object too, a kind of votive offering of the backbone of our entire body. Donate a VERTEBEADS means putting an anchor for the solid construction of personality, physical and emotional existence. A archaic structure around which everything revolves and leans.
The beads were also thought the variant in rose quartz carved as the delicate coloring of the gemstone recalls the tonesof human bones.
