Birmingham’s culinary diversity needs unifying under one umbrella identity. A name and logo mark that can easily be displayed participating restaurants to promote their contribution to Birmingham’s culinary diversity. My Solution is Burp!

Why Burp?
Reason why I think Burp is ideal is because it is hugely different from all the competitors. With the cheeky tone of voice good feedback has been given from all the market groups which includes kids and families to international Students and other visitors who know how a burp signifies that someone has eaten a fair amount.

My final digital idea comes from the fact that many people do not know what is available, hence the BURP Finder. This digital interface is aimed at those who are missing a specific experience. The aim is to describe what you are missing. Examples are; your home (hence location), your mum (hence a person), etc.

This then leads you to a list of specific restaurants to that missing experience. Also with this is an online food application which is where you start an online food fight via BURP. The aim is to throw food at a friend’s profile picture. This would then spread the word of BURP as well as be a marketing tool for people to go out and eat in Birmingham.
