Decide Your Future Now is a helpful app that will get students to start thinking about their career prospects and planning their future.

The app will help students identify their strengths and weaknesses, discover job opportunities and also engage students with the employability service which offers career guidance and advice as to how they can enhance their employability and develop their skills.

The app will be available to be downloaded on smart phones, tablets and computers, which will enable students to easily book a session with one of the career advisors and sync the events calendar with their ical, which will remind them of career fairs and workshops.

Home Screen

The user can select a specific section of the app by using the menu, there is also a back button on subsequent screens to view previous screens.

Awareness Test Screen

The first step of the app is increasing the user's self-awareness by answering four questions about themselves.

Who Are You Screen

The user will answer each question by swiping the correct box to the right, then the next question will appear.

Results Screen

Once the user has answered the four questions, they can scroll up the tabs on the bottom of the screen to view their strengths and weaknesses.

Discover Screen

After viewing their strengths and weaknesses they can swipe horizontally to the discover section where they can search for a degree.

If the user is unsure what course they want to study they can simply browse through all the courses that the university offers.

Degree Screen

After searching for a degree, a descripition of the qualification will appear, swipe horizontally to view the next screen.

Career Prospects Screen

The next screen that will appear will provide a list of career options which relate to the specific degree.

Success Stories Screen

The discover section will also promote work experience, provide a reading list and have a selection of success stories of past Plymouth graduates.

Employability Screen

The user will then view the employability service section where it will adverstise their service, what they do and the career fairs and workshops that they organise.
