I had the great pleasure to collaborate with Urbanista on this concept paper for a unique and ambitious project. The discontinued Berlin airport TXL (Tegel) is about to be transformed into Europe's most advanced and smartest model city.
"Der FUTR HUB wird Berlin TXL zum Modellprojekt für nachhaltige und
smarte Stadtentwicklung machen."
I created several illustrations for each category that will be developed - community, planning & energy, productivity, public services, partnerships and organization. The main focus was an overall image "Das Leitbild" that features an idea of how all those small pieces are connected and work together. The center of this image features a powerful data platform that is in charge, monitors and optimizes all processes and workflows and will be accessible to everybody.
