Tribute to the series "Made In Abyss". I am quite fascinated with the overall environmental concept of the show. I had to sketch and explore the moment myself when the characters enter the giant dark chasm at the end of episode 3. This is such a strong moment and scenery. Every aspect of the set symbolizes something dramatic, an ending, and even death - the lighting, the architecture, and weathered materials and dirt, and not least the pitch-black chasm.
But the moment is everything but. It's the beginning of their journey, a giant leap into something new, frightening yet hopeful unknown.
