Fedrogini Calendar Concept (YCN Student Awards)

Fedrogini Calendar Concept

This was project was part of the YCN student awards competition this year. The brief was to create a desktop calendar for the 'Fedrogini Paper Company', which was simple and easy to use, but was also small and useful for desk and office use. Another need was that it had to in some way sell there most recent paper product, which was the 'Woodstock' range.

The concept I decided to create followed the simple, useful theme they wanted to create throughout. I decided to to create a calendar which was two sided. The left side was used for the basic information, which was needed from a calendar, including important dates and scheduling. The right side was then created into a note pad, this could be used for just general notes, or for noting things down to coincide with the correct date and month. The two sides flip by themselves so they can be seperated.

The selling point was included in the calendar and the sample booklet which would be included in the pack. On the back side of each month in the calendar, would be a quick message to show the reader what weight was used and what paper type had been used for that month. This then kept the user thinking about the paper company throughout the year. The sample booklet was then just used to showcase all the papers in a simple little design, which wouldn't take up much desk space.
