At the end of 2021 I was commissioned by WAGAS， to work on their packaging design for the period though Christmas and the Chinese New Year.
2022 is the year of Tiger, so tiger is one of my main characters. I drew 6 characters in total, and arranged them in the packaging design.
(Also use for Baker&Spice, Funk&Kale) WAGAS is founded in 1999 as a cafe in Shanghai, WAGAS has since expanded across China, counting more than 160 stores in 11 major cities. The design will be use in all the stores and lasting until the mid January, 2022.
Keywords I presented to the client, and the color panel confirmed by WAGAS.
The W logo is from WAGAS’s VI originally. I used it as the mouth of tiger, and also the patterns of the Tiger.
I designed 6 main characters: Bird, Tree/Snowman, Tiger, Gift, Hedgehog, and the running girl. Here are some mock up of the designs.
The packaging comes in a very pretty neon pink color.
It was my first time to done all the graphic works by myself. There are so many knowledge about the graphic design to learn, and for me to improve.
