Darwish (1942-2008) is known as the most popular Palestinian poet. This based on a modified Thulthy script calligraphy to illustrate the two words "Kolo Qoloobe" as used by Darwish to describe his identity.
The design was printed in 28x36 inches with 3 layers of varnish on canvas. The attached clip is an animation depicting how the calligraphy is written.
