I decided to rebrand Salon Visage, a Beauty Salon in Denbigh. It is one of the most established salons in North Wales. The Beauty Salon carries out an extensive range of beauty and relaxation treatments. I wanted to create a professional, clean logo for the company to blend in with the luxury décor of the salon. I also wanted to create a friendly calming logo to represent the staff and the relaxing feel you get when you go for a treatment at the salon. I decided on having a swan to represent the company because it’s a symbol of beauty. A swan is also a clean and pure bird that moves about in a casual relaxed way. It suited the Salon Visage perfectly because it’s a place to relax, be pampered and to feel beautiful. The three lines on the letter ‘I’ creates the shape of the swan’s wing, they also represent eyebrows, eyelashes and hair which are some of the popular areas on the body to have treatments done at the Salon. I chose a lilac colour for the branding because it’s a calming subtle colour, which represents Salon Visage well.
