‘Stories From The Stores’ is a history archive of around 4000 objects. The museum wanted an infographic to categories the collection of items.
I was inspired to use tags in my design after viewing the collection and seeing the variety of ways the objects had been labelled and grouped.
I decided to show a small section of the data, so the viewer wasn’t overwhelmed by amount of information.
Each label has the information of two different categories.
The numbers on the label represent how many objects the museum has in that specific group.
The scale of the tags relate to the number of objects.
