Pre-production art. We used this to get the project off the ground and to start fundraising for the project.

As the staging concepts began, the production team wanted to move away from the heavier style. They presented the idea for the chess piece motif. I reworked the title logo and created the queen chess piece graphic.

As production developed, the look needed to evolved to match the stage design. This treatment was used for the final program and posters for the production. The chess piece motif remained for use in support materials. Source photograph by Egor Kamelev.
