This project was a collaboration with an Inclusive Youth Dance Company – Me2, Leeds

Juliana’s Bike is a series of events and workshops celebrating art and cycling in Leeds. It was organised by East Street Arts and was a part of the ‘Bike Fest’ festival. As part of Juliana’s Bike I was commissioned to document two consecutive workshops run by the ‘Me2: The Inclusive Youth Dance Company’. The workshops, supported by Janice Keith, set out to invent creative dance work around the theme of cycling.

The project concluded in a series of digital illustrations portraying the young dancers involved. These were compiled and published in an A5 booklet format, alongside written information that explained the context behind the project and the creative processes followed in developing the dance piece.
