Franciscan Well
Rebrand and packaging for craft brewery following acquisition by Molson-Coors.
Franciscan Well is a craft beer brand which is based on the site of an old monastery in Cork city, Ireland. A redrawn version of the existing monk figure was retained and combined with custom black-letter typography inside a tab device which creates both harmony for the elements of the logo and points the viewers eye towards the beer style on the packaging. Each beer style within the range received individual typographic identities which work in harmony with the primary brand mark. The bottle labels were spot varnished front and rear and included a foil stamp brewery founder signature.
