Through its artisanal distillery, Domaine Gélinas grants itself a family portrait. Passion, terroir, hard work. A family of pioneers for whom “how” is the root of everything; a meticulous legacy that bears fruit. Each and everyone adding their own colour. Resulting in a range of handmade, heartfelt spirits. / Avec sa distillerie artisanale, le Domaine Gélinas s’offre un portrait de famille. Une famille pionnière, pour qui tout prend racine dans la façon de faire ; un héritage de minutie qui porte ses fruits. Passion, terroir, labeur : chaque membre de la lignée ajoute sa couleur.
En découle une gamme de spiritueux faits main, avec cœur.

The Territory / Le territoire

While the recipe let’s us taste the Gélinas know-how, the bottle lets us touch the place where it came to be. The wooden cap evokes the family land and the fauna that inhabits it; the embossing personifies attention to detail. The very shape of the object revives the memory of an ancient pharmacopoeia. It is a narrative object, a window into history. / Si la recette nous permet de goûter au savoir-faire Gélinas, la bouteille nous offre de toucher au lieu qui l’a vu naître. Le bouchon de bois évoque la terre familiale et la faune qui l’habite ; l’embossage incarne le souci du détail. La forme même de l’objet avive le souvenir d’une pharmacopée ancienne. C’est un objet narratif, un livre ouvert sur l’histoire.

The Bird / L'oiseau

At the heart of the distillery nestles a partridge, a family emblem whose habitat nests on these ancestral lands. / Au cœur de la distillerie se niche la perdrix, une emblème familial dont l’habitat constitue une parcelle des terres ancestrales.
