Meta is a high-performance sport center specialized in the development and training of top-level soccer players. It was founded to host international soccer teams, improve the performance of players of all categories, discover talent and train soccer players from an early age.
Soccer, like many other sports and life itself, is about setting goals, working hard to achieve them, and having a good time; it’s a sport full of passion, dedication and hunger to win. The brand identity plays around the concept of “goal”, from the name (Meta is a word in Spanish for goal) to the speech (Victory, Glory & Bliss).
For this project we decided to move away from the sports cliché and opted to create a much more classic, clean and direct identity. We designed an icon that combines a globe, as a symbol of internationality, with the round center of a soccer field and the first letter of the name. The brand is inspired by iconic soccer players and portrays historical achievements, using them as inspiration to build the future.
