FicTix & Reserva
Neo Studio

Context
FicTix is a Rio de Janeiro based studio that develop interactive installations aiming to bring delightful experiences through product design, custom hardware and software solutions. Reserva is a huge brazillian clothing brand with over 70 stores spread throughout the country.

My Role
As lead product designer I was responsible for competitive analysis researches, creating wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes. I also was responsible to define the app’s visual design language which was the foundation for future iterations.

Wireframes we developed to validate with Reserva's team.

The Opportunity
Reserva observed a business opportunity to create a concept store for their accessories and sneakers. The conceptualization behind the store was thought in a way to bring an art gallery look and feel to display their products.

Our mission was to build an interactive experience focused on customizing their brand new sneaker silhouette, the Neo.

The Solution
We developed a digital experience that was very much complimentary to the physical one using interface elements on an interactive display.

Given all the secrecy surrounding the launching of a concept store, we faced a great challenge that was not being able to get insights from their actual audience. The way we worked around this situation was leaning over Reserva’s experts know-how and making a ton of benchmarking.

We end up developing a customization environment that used live-view 3d renders to empower that experience. At the end, the user would be able to buy their creation and choose to receive it in one of Reserva’s stores or at your own place.

Learnings & Outcomes
The store opening was a success and the Neo Studio experience overflowed the limits of the concept store and reach some others throughout the country. After the Neo Studio, we worked together on other 2 retailing-tech projects.
