The design inspiration is based on the Philips Fidelio brand principles. It is about premium parts and materials. Authentic wood, real metal. And of course good quality built, and precision in engineering and manufacturing.
The design represents the new interpretation of the audio metaphor, a balance between audio and design, that can endure a long period of time.
Impressively sleek, elegant, and reminiscent of a futuristic architectural structure, the Soundsphere is definitely a statement piece that belongs in any contemporary home. The design has a distinctive ’acorn’ shaped woofer cabinet from which a 1 meter long chrome tube gracefully emerges, bearing the iconic floating tweeter.
