The idea behind this site is all to do with how people can relate to the issues with sight which is why I have chosen to use a pair of glasess used to check people eyesight. most people have had this done so they would be able to relate which makes it a great carrier of snipits of information to draw the user in before they learn more about sightsavers if they wish to do so or just sign up after reading a bit about what sightsavers do. It is also quite playful and fun in style and what the user is doing. by getting the user to click on buttons to reveal information in this way it engages them and holds there interest within the site. There will always br a counter at the bottom so that the user can see they are part of something a lot bigger than just themselves.

 

These will be used throughout the website as markers for such things as the differenct stories or articles on the different pages within the site. i.e. the health information page with use the cross as a marker to choose different images in the photo gallery.

These symbols will also be used within the navigation itself as once the user has seen them on the main home page then they will become firmiliar with what the symbols stand for making the user experience much easier as the user will know where they are within the site at all times.
