Since we had all the necessary tools to try it out, I decided to make my own longboards.
I started making a mold to press the plank into the desired shape. To make the planks I used epoxy to hold together veneer and fiberglass.
The result is a flexible but strong plank that is suited for longboarding.
After the epoxy resin was dry I finished the plank by sawing it in the desired shape and sanding it to a decent finish.
Once that was done I got to work on the design. This was the eventual result.
