Based on Aliens versus Predator, the expunger is a responsive ground defense platform that activates and deploys upon detection of oncoming Alien attack waves and proceeds to dispatch them with its sweeping Laser attack. Capable of a wide are coverage and high kill ratio per unit, the expunger is programed to march forward slowly and gain grounds against the alien assault buying space and time for Marines to prepare for a strong assault to permanently disable the offending hives.
