Branded materials for New Year's Eve Ball, 2012

We co-organized a New Year's Eve ball in the new Syreni Śpiew club in Warsaw.
Until recently, this beautiful detached structure from the 60’s stood empty and neglected.
The ball was to be a slightly dark and decadent event, with formal attire and a big band.
We decided the patron of the celebration would be the demon Baal,
to symbolize the transition from the end to a new beginning.
Each guest received an elegant invitation printed with copper silkscreen

and embossing as well as a black mask in a specially designed envelope.
Careful attention was given to the typography to reveal its dark, but elegant theme.
Hand stamped black wax seals added to the dark decadence.

and life-giving god of storm, rain, and ruler of the world.
Each year Baal descended into the underworld to the advent of spring rising from the dead.
The constant struggle between life and death was the subject of dramatic myth,
which deeply moved and brought internal cleansing."
