Las interacciones en las redes sociales producen la liberación de la dopamina causando satisfacción y adicción. Nos volvemos obsesivos con ‘atención falsa’ buscando la aceptación social e ignorando problemas reales y significativos. Mi obra muestra la irrelevancia de un simple ‘dislike’, que en la obra se representa de manera satírica. Un dislike es una gran tragedia para ella, ¿realmente significa tanto? De referencia usé la trama del cuento “La Máscara de la Muerte Roja” por Edgar Allan Poe. La fotografía de fondo fue tomada en St. Paul's Cathedral, Londres.

Interactions in social media produce the release of dopamine causing satisfaction and addiction. We become obsessive with 'false attention' seeking social acceptance and ignoring real and significant problems. My work shows the irrelevance of a simple 'dislike', which is represented in a satirical way. A dislike is a great tragedy for her, does it really mean that much? As a reference I used the plot of the story "The Mask of the Red Death" by Edgar Allan Poe.
