Route 1 (Used)
The Home Technology Event was in its second year and required a rebrand. We presented 3 routes to the client. The following 2 routes were shortlisted and developed further.

The client chose this route, commenting that the logotype was easy to apply and that they liked the 'play' symbol in the first 'o' of technology, seeing transferable value for the emblem to be used in event promotion and wayfaring.

Route 2 (Unused)
My preferred choice was this route - the merging of a circuitboard with a house shape. A dynamic design, this identity is scalable and can be fitted to any dimensions - extended as required with inverted 1 and 2 colour versions adding extra possibilities.

HoneBrew Brewing Co.
Designer
2016

HoneBrew is a fledgling craft brewery founded by photographer Jo Hone. We felt it was important not to forget Jo's first love when creating the branding for her new passion, so I wanted to create some simple, bold type that would sit comfortably and clearly on her beautiful landscape photographs. The equal 4-character balance of Hone/Brew also allowed an opportunity to also include the subtle addition of a capital 'H' to the container, aiding recognition and legibility of the logo.

Branding for a small educational publishing, conference and training company. Using only the company's initials, I creating an emblem representing someone reading a book, able to be applied independently of the logotype on book spines and other small format purposes.

Mitigram (unused)
Designer
2016

The online banking marketplace and risk mitigation advisor, Mitigram, launched in early 2016. Our proposal - a bold, bright and clean design utilising an egg timer device made from the letter Ms at the beginning and end of the name - fits well in the digital space and works well when paired with bright, colourful imagery.
