Motion Exploration

Logos, shapes, fan tribute, displacements, distorts, SVG's and lot of fun
while doing this exercises for practice After Effects. Enjoy!

Objektiv is a data visualization feed in Instagram, that gather the best work from around the world.
I loved the eye shaped logo, and wanted to create a story under the idea of the project,
like if it was scanning for the best data visualization projects around the world.

Logo by @Dennys

Number i did for a work project, and didn't have the time to do the animation.
Wanted to create a super dynamic number, and be out of the classic geometric number animations,
i'd played with lots of eases and displacement maps.

Polo&Pan released 'Feel good', and was so excited about it, so i needed to involve myself somehow.
Saw the logo and that classic bold/thin lined type in mix with the handwritten style, and came to my mind to do with the chorus of the song at the same time it says 'Feel good' to create this equalizer at the beginning and then evolves to Polo & Pan, in the end Feel good appears with a simple and organic brush animation.

I did this logo for a super colorful and playful role playing game.
Every RPG has a Game master and players rolling dices to make decisions, in the logo the eye represents
the Game master and the hexagon the dice. Wanted to make an intro with a complex grid as some other
materials use them and it will help to unify the overall concept.

Project:  @Playbase

Visited the Köln dom, and found some beautiful stained glass illustrations.
To be able to manage and control distort displacements as random as they are is so difficult and frustrating,
but with some mistakes and time i find it interesting and quite beautiful.

Had some free time and needed to practice.
I played with lots of different colored solids and applying them the distort displacement map effect
i manage to get this random alive lines movement.

Bubbles
I love to play with distort displacements and its controls, and with some scale movements
nice organic movements can be achieved.

SVG bruses exploration.
Exploring and playing a lot with the ease graphs in after effects, some mask tricks and repetition, i was able to do this smooth organic animations and to create different meanings depending in the composition, all of them are compatible with Lottie.
