NOT FOR SALE is an art exhibition celebrating art space MAPKL’s third anniversary in conjunction with MAP Arts Festival 2013.
The art space invited friends who are artists, art collectors and gallery owners to showcase their artwork that is NOT FOR SALE.
A series of cards designed to house stories and anecdotes of each artwork.
Each card tells the story of an artwork exhibited and why they are so deeply important to each artist, art collector and gallery owner.
The series of cards is packaged into a brown envelope and is for sale at the exhibition.
The red dot references the red sticker that is used in art galleries to mark works as SOLD. The brown envelope packaging is inspired by how potential art buyers receive previews of art they would like to buy contained in a brown envelope.
