Today's project was a Typewalk around Brighton — photographing my hometown through its typography.

In the same way that Brighton's architecture encompasses buildings from the Georgian and Victorian eras, and travels through the 20th century right up to the present, its typography ranges through hand-lettering, carving, metal casting to include present-day technologies such as laser vinyl letter cutting and digital printing. It is this mix of different aesthetics that forms a central part of Brighton's vibrancy.
