From concept to product
Duco lab. is the design studio and manufacturing company I have worked for since 2014. In the beginning it ́s core business was solely focused on product development for manufacturing and the actual production of the products, bringing other designers and architects ideas into reality.
When I first started working in the studio, one of my tasks was to help establish a new design area within the company, creating new designs made in house from concept to end product.
That is how the first furniture collection called Ensamble came to life. The concept for this line was to create furniture that could be flat packed and easily assembled by the user, while maintaining a clean and beautiful design made with
premium quality materials. My involvement in the development of the line was to establish the design criteria used by the design team for the entire collection and lead the production from early design prototypes.
