Introduction to Brand-Packaging

Design for the Greek Based Company

"Gefsis Nikezi"

We were asked to design the brand and packaging of the "Gefsis Nikezi" natural products company which is active in the food industry since 2016. With the intention of expanding the company, we created a dynamic brand-packaging which is approachable to several age groups and is easy to stand out on the market shelves among similar products.

It was a challenge for us to marry the traditional style of the company with a more contemporary and minimalist design that fits the requirements of today.

The colour palette we used to make the 4 products pop/ distinguish (wholegrain tahini, peanut butter, hazelnut paste, almond paste) is one of the earth colours in a brown base of several hues which is the dominant colour that represents the fertile soil of the land that are produced, Macedonia (Greece).

About The Company

The "Gefsis Nikezi" company was founded in 2016 in Giannitsa, Pella with aim to make good use of their family's produce on the rich soil of Macedonia. It began with the triticum dicoccum/ zea cultivation process to create flour, hilopites pasta, sweet trahana and macaroni. A few months later the sesame cultivation began and its transformation to whole grain tahini. The familiarization with these crops paved the road for the production of peanut butter, hazelnut paste and almond paste, which are 3 products that immediately gained the interest of the most demanding palates. Always maintaining the high nutritious quality of the crops that are grown in greek soil, the company "Gefsis Nikezi" started expanding to areas of north Greece and it keeps having as a priority to find primary materials of superior quality to create their products.
