At the same time, it has to contain as many aspects as possible of the Codru Protected Geographical Indication. Codru region is geographically situated at the Center of Republic of Moldova.

For this region, though it produces all types of wines, a specific type of wine are the sparkling wines.

25% of this area are forests, named in Romanian "Codru", as the region's name suggests.

The oak tree is a relevant component of Codru. And visually we can make an association with it by using the acorn in the graphic element.

This region has a good irigation, specific and different from other regions.

We've collected data through a online form from the IGP Codru Committee in order to have their input near the logo.

We've considered to integrate the golden ratios in the graphic symbol of the logo too.

Finally we've presented several versions of the logo to the Committee and the first one was chosen.
