Edna’s is a neighbour’s cocktail party where you lose track of time. It’s place of fresh delights recalling simpler times gone by, but fresh like a summer romance. It is where you return to time and again for nourishment of the soul through good food and good company. You can come with friends or alone to make new ones. You are welcomed and graciously taken care of, suspending your worries as if at a lakeside cottage.
Breakhouse was the creative team behind all aspects of the restaurant, from its conceptual beginning, naming, interiors, printed work, environmental graphics & signage.
Edna’s success was immediate. Its been called the gateway of Halifax’s North end, a part of the city in transition. It gets busy as shit as soon as it opens and continues until its closed. Its clientele is eclectic from hipsters, to grandparents. Cool dudes to young families.
