Trains and Travel
A Look at a Forgotten Form
A Look at a Forgotten Form
These days, trains have been considered a forgotten form of transportation. For short distances, cars and buses are more reliable, and for longer distances, planes get you there quicker. Still, there really is something to be said about the feeling you get when you just sit back and watch the world pass you by from the window of a passing train. You're not on a bus long enough to notice, you can't really focus on much else in a car, and all you see in planes is clouds, but from the window of a train, you see the changing landscapes, the waiting passengers, and a true sense of America.
