The Coffee House Feature Wall
The Coffee House is a growing chain of independent coffee houses located in Sale, Lymm, Widnes, Partington, Huyton, Northwich and Bootle. The old DDC studio was located above their Lymm store and we became regulars at the coffee house during our years there.
Chris and Steve approached us to create some bespoke artwork for their Northwich concept store located within the towns new Barons Quay shopping development. The new store has a huge two-story feature wall so they wanted to create something that would serve as a way of communicating their ethos, journey as well as interesting facts about coffee and also the history of Northwich.
Time was very tight with this brief and we only had 1 week to create the artwork due to the printers needing to install it before the store flooring went in. Nothing like a tight deadline! After developing some basic concepts for the style the whole team worked on creating design elements that could easily be fitted into the space allocated and moved as the design progressed. Minimal design changes from the client meant we hit the deadline with time to spare.
