Thunderbird Fried Chicken
The Client
Thunderbird Fried Chicken is a chain of independent stores based in London serving award-winning fried chicken wings, burgers, tenders and a vast array of delicious wares. Thunderbirds story starts with the racecars of NASCAR in the USA, then to BBQ of the deep south and comes back to the UK via a BBQ truck!
The Brief
We were introduced to Matt the founder via an SEO company who we have worked with before. Thunderbird was in the process of rebranding so wanted to get a new website designed and built, it needed to be simple, easy to navigate and also be flexible to showcase the different menus at each of their sites.
The Website
The design was kept clean and simple so that it would be easy for users to navigate through. Thunderbird's new branding featured a range of posters and statements which we brought through to the design and followed this attitude through into the content of the site. There are plenty of CTA points targeting various users end outcome, whether that would be ordering via Deliveroo, ordering for collection or finding out store and menu information. The site is built on the Avada Wordpress theme and we utilised the insert pages plugin to allow us to build the toggle menus for each store. This allowed us to set up each menu section as a child page and insert that into the toggle, the result being that we could easily work on the menus using Avada's backend Fusion Builder rather than working with multiple columns and elements inline.
