Digital Photo Retouching

Original photos used on the left, and the final Ski Club Bobbleheads on the right. Created in Photoshop.
Panorama photo created from five individual photos. Created in Photoshop.
I found the black and white photo of Batman and Robin on the web. I could never find a similar photo including the Batmobile. I colorized it and found a Batmobile in color to combine with it. Created in Adobe Photoshop.
I took the previous composite and added the old Gotham City Police Department from a studio backlot photo. Then I added a New York City skyline to the background, the Batman logo and the text to the bottom. A little Photoshop practice turned out to be a pretty good retro Batman poster.
Colorized photo practice in Adobe Photoshop. Would make a great cutout standup.

Robin colorized in Adobe Photohshop for a custom cutout standup.
A Photoshop recolor of the Joker from the old Batman TV series. I used a more traditional comic book color scheme than the TV show.
Another Joker photo colored to match the preceding photo. I think either one would make a great cutout standup.
Colorized version of the old 1940s Batman serial picture. Colorized in Adobe Photoshop.
Barney Fife standup design created from an old photo of Don Knotts, legs added from a photo of a Barney impersonator, then colorized. All work done in Photoshop.
Colorised photo practice turned into a retro Munsters poster. Colorized in Adobe Photoshop. Herman turned out a little to green. I've seen him green and blue-gray like the other family members.
Photo composite replacing Buffalo Bob's face with a local customer's. All work in Adobe Photoshop.
Original photo on the left, and the repaired finished product on the right.
Original photos on the left, and the combined finished product on the right.
Family photo from 1940 before and after colorization. All work in Adobe Photoshop.

Damaged original photo, repaired version, colorized version. Done for a local freelance customer because it was the only photo she had of her mom, and dad. All work in Adobe Photoshop.

Fake memorial portraits created from snapshots. Created in Adobe Photoshop.

Freelance composite simulated frosted signage for a local film company. Created in Adobe Photoshop.
Created for Bassett Furniture. To avoid shipping costs to and from the professional photographer in High Point, NC I took the original photo at top and added the 3D carved texture to the back of the chairs. The new catalog of the this suite had already been printed before anyone noticed that the furniture had been photographed with the back of the chairs uncarved. I had to digitally repair six photos overnight so the new catalogs could be reprinted before the end of the furniture market.
No other photo existed of this cabinet, except in the room scene at the left. I used Photoshop and digitally rebuilt it for a catalog that Bassett Furniture needed to print.
Bassett Furniture discontinued the chair in the top photo and didn't have a photo of the desk alone. I digitally erased the chair and rebuilt the desk in Photoshop. Took less than an hour, and saved Bassett the shipping costs to and from the photographer in HIgh Point, NC and the photography costs for a studio setup.
The photo at the top is the original. The designers at Bassett Furniture decided to change the design of the footboard during the High Point Furniture Market. The bed was made in China and all they had was a line drawing of the new footboard. I changed the design in Photoshop and sent the file on to the printer to use in the new catalog. I don't know how long it would have taken to send the new design to China and wait for a new one to be shipped back. I was finished in about two hours.
Color dresser rendering created from an elevation line drawing for Bassett Furniture.
The photo at the top is the original. I did about 50 photos for Bassett Furniture of buildings that they wanted to convert into Bassett Furniture Direct stores across the country. Created in Photoshop.
Two wedding photos combined into one in Photoshop in less than 15 minutes.
1 0f 3 photo composites done for a local customer's mom who is a big Wizard of Oz fan. She is replacing Dorothy. Her original photo was black and white. Colorized and composited in Adobe Photoshop.
2 of 3 composite.
3 0f 3 composite.
