Card Stock Paper Displays & Models

Angel Teddy Bear. Card stock model figure. Moveable head, arms, & legs. Wings have a bendable pipecleaner joint. Made to sell as a gift item. Color laser printer on 110 lb card stock/cover stock. Cut out with sissors, & x-acto knife. Edges of the paper touched up with colored markers. Glued with Elmer's white glue. People mistake it for ceramic. I've had one knocked off a table, falling three feet to the floor, with no damage. Try that with a ceramic statue.
SS Minnow paper model from Gilligan's Island. I got this as a digital model from a friend. It was scanned from an original card stock model bought from Bob Denver's website. The original had his and the professor's autographs. I made this one for a friend of mine who loved the show.
Four foot wingspan American Eagle paper sculpture. Printed on a heavy poster paper with a solvent ink poster printer. He has in interior frame structure made from poster board for a stronger model. Built for a local sign company to use in their trade show booth. I did a touchup job on him after he had been hanging in their office for over two years. Not durable enough for outside but if not handled rough will last a long time. The solvent ink has held up without fading.

Test model head of the American Eagle laminated to poster board. A lot harder to form into shape but a lot more durable. If I build another model this large I plan on laminating the entire model.
Bobblehead Bassett Hound design for Bassett Furniture. Designed as a single page print for children to build at the Bassett Furniture Direct stores.
Card stock paper model of a Vietnam era rescue helicopter. I used a few extras besides paper for this one. A milkshake plastic straw glued inside the body, and a regular plastic straw attached to the main rotor allows the rotor to turn. Two wooden toothpicks form the forward antennas. Four metal paper clips are laminated inside the skids and skid supports.
12 inch tall Lab built for a local sign company's customer. For use in a trade show booth. People came into the booth just to see what he was made of. I laminated all the printed sheets to poster board before building. This model is not moveable except for his head, which can turn right and left, and raise and lower.
Small card stock model of the MUNSTER's Munster Koach. This one was printed onto card stock with an ink jet printer. Cut out with sissors, scored, folded, curled, and glued with Elmer's white glue. This model is about Hot Wheels scale, 1/64th.
This one is actually two models, shipping crate, & store. Display for the local business development office for their trade show booth. Card stock paper, printed, cutout with sissors, scored, folded, and glued with Elmer's white glue.
Paper model for Ridgeway Clocks to show placement and layout of signage for a new truck. Card stock paper printed on an inkjet. Cut out with sissors, scored, folded, curled, and glued with Elmer's white glue. Final design about 12 inches long.

Shorty the Pencil gift item idea for art teachers or artists. Card stock model with changable word balloon. Card stock model printed on an inkjet. Cut out with sissors, scored, curled, and glued with Elmer's white glue. Working on other ideas for writers, teachers, etc. for new word balloons.

Three poseable teddy bear paper models. These all have little hoody sweatshirts each with a different emprint on their shirt. Heads turn right and left. arms, and legs move. Card stock paper printed with a laser printer. Cut out with sissors, scored, curled, and glued with Elmer's white glue. Made as gift items.
