A flagshipstore for 'Origins'

In the class project of ‘Space-related systems design / exhibition design’ of Visual Communication in the Universität der Künste, I was given the semester-project assignment to develop ‘Raumszenarien für Organisationen’. The choice of how to solve the task was free to each student. As I’m interested in the field of branded spaces and exhibition design, I choose to design a flagship store/concept store for the skin product brand Origins. It is an interesting brand and they have a fascinating laboratory approach to their product development. Everything is based on what one can find in nature. There is a beautiful complexity in how the brand identifies with both science and nature; and with this as inspiration, I chose to begin my design process. This whole project is about expressing ‘Origins’ as a brand, but also to create a space that is unique, experimental and informative.
