From one of Ica's poems, I conceptualized a zine drawn out of lines.
The initial concept and layout for the zine was made digitally, but true to its title, the lines in 'drawn' were always meant to be initially made by hand. We experimented with different media, pens, and approaches.

We eventually settled with pencils on paper, giving the lines and letters a textured feeling that borders between being written and being erased.
The lines were scanned, cleaned up, and the colors inverted making the final output look chalk-like. We settled with a page size just a little smaller than A6.
