Kosovirji za Pesmi muce potovke

Pesmi muce potovke

My little contribution of illustrations for a beautiful collection of poems gathered in Pesmi muce potovke, by renowned Slovenian writer Svetlana Makarovič. The collection was illustrated by 32 Slovenian illustrators.

I illustrated the famous little woodland critters called Kosovirji. They live on flying spoons and eat tomatoes that also grow on the flying spoons.

KOSOVIR, (Cosovirius ferus ululans) is a very interesting small animal that lives in the land of Kosovirija. They are divided into curious and non-curious Kosovirs. They are covered in a black furry coat, which is characterized by extreme softness. They are adorned with a long, bushy tail that usually ends in a tuft. In the muzzle Kosovir has sixteen sharp teeth, with which it devours tomatoes, which is their primary source of food.
