With a diverse background of products and working environments, Evan has developed an intimate knowledge of design and manufacturing procedures. This has allowed him to build products that are innovative in their appearance, performance, and production.
Evan earned his bachelor's degree in Industrial Design from Purdue University in 2000. Following graduation, he traveled to Chicago to design trade-show booths for the Design Agency.
With his true love being in product design, he moved to Kansas to work with a team of experienced engineers at Hopkins Manufacturing. There he designed numerous injection-molded products for the OEM and aftermarket automotive industry.
In the fall of 2004, he accepted a position as designer with Confluence Watersports, parent company of well-known brands such as Perception, Wilderness Systems and Dagger. He worked closely with renowned hull designers to create the best products in the industry.
Having raced bicycles since the age of 15, Evan also does design work for Blue Competition Cycles in Atlanta. His latest design, the 2011 Triad SL, was ridden to 2nd at Ironman World Championships in Kona.
Beyond his work with 6ix Design, Evan is also the creator of the Cerevellum digital bicycle mirror. The product has earned enormous media exposure including being "most wanted new product" in Cycling Plus magazine. Read Less
