Taking inspiration from top turntablists, and using the film 'Scratch' as reference - I devised this piece around some of the most obscure, yet fantastic of DJs - most notably DJ Qbert. The piece makes reference to things such as technical drawings and the mechanical innards of musical hardware for the surroundings, whilst fitting the character into a set of suitably geeky clothes and accessories (with accompanying retro references).
