Who?
I grew up in the Bay Area skateboarding and racing bikes. I've always had a passion for things visual and creative. When I was a kid I used to make stop motion movies with my play-doh.
I love music. I love when I discover new music or hear something that makes me turn the volume up to better interpret the layers. Headphones are the best for that. I was a DJ for a long time and I still love to scratch. The stylus is a bona fide musical instrument as far as I'm concerned.
While at the San Francisco state multimedia program, I made a super-8 narrative film entitled "what's the big deal" with my friend Oliver Mork. He and I also shot another short, an homage to silent films called "the purse." Designing the printed materials for the films' press kits strengthened my burgeoning attraction to graphic design.
I moved to Los Angeles to attend Art Center College of Design for a bachelor of fine arts in graphic design. I like sushi a lot, as well as clever type, neat ideas, and those triumphant creative light bulbs that go on when I've nailed an idea or direction.
